Rock the Block Recap

Thank You, White Plains!

On Wednesday, May 20, Downtown White Plains came alive as the community gathered for the first Rock the Block concert of the 2026 season.

While the evening brought a few weather-related challenges, including rain during setup and light drizzles throughout the event, the Rock the Block spirit remained strong.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who still came out to support the event, enjoy the music, and help kick off the season with us.

The night began with a soulful set from Shad Deso. Guests could be seen dining al fresco, crafting at the ArtsMobile, playing yard games, and soaking in the atmosphere as music filled the street.

Closing out the evening was The Experience Band & Show, led by TK the Trombone King, delivering their signature blend of jazz, funk, and Go-Go in an electrifying performance.

We look forward to even brighter, sunnier nights this summer.
