The White Plains BID closes its Winter Outlook Series with its final program, “March Into Self Care,” featuring huge local discounts.

The spring season is fast approaching and, as we say goodbye to winter and welcome longer days and warmer weather, it’s the perfect time to pamper yourself with some self-care. What’s even better is that you can support local small businesses while doing it.

The White Plains Business Improvement District (BID) is encouraging self-care with the punny final program in its Winter Outlook Series, “March Into Self Care.” Sponsored by Westchester Magazine and Continuum 57, from March 1 to March 31 salons, barber shops, therapeutic and medspas, and more in downtown White Plains are offering a 25% discount on select services such as haircuts, acupuncture, massages, and facials.

“Everyone is in need of some self-care, especially this winter,” White Plains BID Executive Director Brittany Brandwein says. “Downtown White Plains has diverse offerings to satisfy whatever is appealing to you. And feeling good is twofold since you can support the local community in an industry that has been quite affected recently at the same time.”

The White Plains BID is dedicated to supporting businesses in the community. It encourages people to recognize the hard work local businesses put in to deliver quality services and keep clients and staff healthy and safe.

“On the heels of their very successful White Plains Restaurant Month (January) and White Plains Fitness Month (February), the BID is now spotlighting the many self-care businesses in our community,” Mayor Tom Roach of the City of White Plains says. “Kudos to them for organizing this series of focused looks at the variety of businesses in our downtown. They are a great reminder of all the White Plains has to offer!”
