One Lyon Aims to Transform Prime Real Estate in Downtown White Plains

White Plains is about to get a new jewel in the downtown area’s crown, as a vacant senior residence prepares to be transformed into a 212-unit high-end rental community. The currently vacant building that stands at 1 Lyon Place in White Plains is being prepped for a total makeover after being acquired by Brooklyn-based investment and developing company, Beitel Group.
Beitel Group hopes that the development will be successful in bringing a refreshing energy to downtown while continuing to honor the hard work of the city’s current residents. One element that hopes to accomplish this goal will be a rotating art gallery inside One Lyon that will feature exhibits from ArtsWestchester with works by local artists.
