Downtown White Plains Holiday Market Igloo Experiences
Who knew ice blocks could be so fun? Okay, they’re not made of real ice, but our pop-up igloos are everything else: comfortably furnished, decorated and lit, and able to house 6-8 individuals at a time. Anyone is welcome to enter an unoccupied and unreserved igloo during regular market hours to warm up, play a board game borrowed from the downtown White Plains BID chalet or as a spot to use one of our s’mores kits (rented from the BID Market Chalet).

Reserving an Igloo for Private Dining:
Want to ensure an igloo is reserved for the time you want it, and guarantee it’s only you and your party? Reserve an igloo now. Savor your favorite takeout from downtown restaurants or purchase delightful treats from onsite food and beverage vendors. Each igloo is heated, ensuring a warm and festive atmosphere. 🔥
What’s Included:
Your $50.00 igloo reservation guarantees privacy, and comes with 4 complimentary beverages, a choice between hot Glühwein (the mulled wine traditional to European Holiday Markets for those 21 and older) Heineken® beer (21 +) or hot chocolate. 🍺☕🍷 You can bring your own eats from one of our many wonderful local restaurants offering takeout, or apply one of our add-ons for simplicity and let the BID handle the ordering:

- How many people can we bring?
- Each Igloo can accommodate between 6 and 8 people. 🧑🤝🧑
- How long is each seating?
- Reserved private seating is limited to 90 minutes. ⏰
- Are the igloos heated?
- Yes, each igloo is equipped with heating. 🔥
- Are non-service dogs (or my pet reindeer) allowed inside the igloo?
- Unfortunately, dogs (or reindeer) are not allowed inside the igloo. 🐾
- Will there be food?
- You have the option to purchase food and beverages separately outside at your favorite restaurant or purchase at one of the food and beverage vendors and bring them back to your igloo. Additionally, each Igloo reservation includes 4 complimentary beverages (choose from hot mulled wine, or Heineken® beer for those 21 or older, or hot chocolate).
- Why a fee to reserve the igloo? Fees help ensure people honor their reservations, so that all patrons who wish to use the igloos have a fair chance of reserving without sitting on a wait list while there are no-shows. When you show up, 4 complimentary beverages are on us (and all proceeds go towards our important work of supporting local business in our downtown.)
- What if I can’t make it?
- Tickets are nonrefundable, but if an igloo is available on another day, we will do our best to accommodate you. 🎟️
Arranging an Igloo Private Group Class/Experience:
Grab your holiday homies for some group fun. Working with external partners, we’ve created a series of private party opt-in classes and experiences perfect for a friend’s night out in one of our igloos, whether it’s a charcuterie board making class, or candle crafting instruction, all inside our igloos. Fees are per group of (not person) with an oppurtunity to add more buddies.
