As much as we want to celebrate with you guys\, safety is our priority.
Due to the severe weather forecast with a nor’easter bringin g heavy rain and strong winds\, we have made the difficult decision to canc el this year’s Downtown White Plains Oktoberfest originally scheduled for S unday\, October 12.
While Oktoberfest is typically held rain or shine\, the expected weather conditions\, partic ularly wind\, present safety concerns regarding our large tent that make it unsafe to move forward with the event.
We hope everyone can stay cozy and safe during the storm.
Thank you to the participating busines ses who have invested significantly into this event Brazen Fox\, Cantina\, Freebird\, Hudson Grille\, Lazy Boy Saloon\, Lilly’s\, Ron Blacks\, Sundanc e Kitchen\, Walter’s Hot Dogs\, and Wolf and Warrior.

It’s back! Bring your Lederhosen and Dirndls and join thousands of residents and visitors in the heart of Do wntown White Plains and Westchester County as we celebrate the return of Wh ite Plains OktoberFest. Enjoy German festivities\, a variety of beers\, sea sonal food\, and live music from an authentic Oompah band\, Melina & the Oompahs . There will be fun competitions\, games\, and family activities. Come join us and sing along to “Ein Prosit der Gemütlichkeit!”
Cravi ng something delicious? Savor a variety of dishes\, including mouthwatering German specialties\, from Sundance Kitchen! Or grab a bite from Walter’s H ot Dog Truck!

For the first time ever\, Oktoberfest is expanding beyo nd East Post Road into the next block on Quarropas Street—making room for e ven more activities.
Enjoy lively performances\, free kids’ crafts\, and plenty of games to keep everyone entertained. Visitors can also explore local vendors\, play a round of mini golf\, dance along with a dedicated D J\, and of course\, savor delicious food throughout the day.
The Alpi ne Village is all about making memories—safe\, festive\, and filled with ac tivities that will bring smiles to every generation. Come experience Oktobe rfest in a way the whole family will love! The Alpine Village will run from 1pm – 5pm.
