June 15 - White Plains Transit District Public Engagement Meeting

The next public engagement session for the downtown transit district study is scheduled for Wednesday, June 15 at 6:30 pm in the NY Power Authority building, located at 123 Main Street, 1st floor Jaguar Room.

At this meeting, the results of the baseline studies will be presented to the public. These studies looked at current parking, traffic, land use and zoning, and market conditions in the study area. They were an important first step in the process, as they will provide the City with a solid foundation on which to base future decisions. In addition, the city will be asking for feedback on potential concepts for the study area using an interactive smaller group format. This structure for the meeting - part presentation and part interactive stations - allows the city to provide the public with an update on the project as well as continue to obtain public input in a large group setting.
