The four "Memes" are the partners of Meme’s Bakery Cafe. They are chefs first and foremost. These chefs pride themselves on producing each sweet, salad or sandwich with care and attention so that your family or friends truly enjoy the treat.

With years of their lives emanating from cooking and baking for a living, the founders, (Vincent Dellabate, Brad Barnes, Peter Herrero and Lisa Brefere) are proud to bring White Plains the finest and freshest in pastries, cakes, cookies, soups, sandwiches, and salads. They believe in the true artisan approach rendering a superior product. These chefs are incredibly passionate about sharing the pure pleasure that delectable pastries and foods with warm hospitality can bring into your life. They love what we do, and even more, love sharing this passion with you.

The pastry chef at Meme's, Vincent Dellabate, has been making great sweets for 15 years and at Meme’s he prepares creations with his own special style, accented by European influences and highlighted by a sensibility of today's pastry delights.

Brad Barnes and Lisa Brefere are founders of the culinary professional site: gigachef.com. This site has set a benchmark for those in the cooking world. Information about vendors, recipes, resume writing, foreign dictionaries, etc can be found here. Lisa and Brad also have all sorts of initials following their names which are highly valued in the culinary world. Brad is a Certified Master Chef (CMC), a Certified Culinary Administrator (CCA) and a AAC (American Academy of Chefs), wheras Lisa is a CEC (Certified Executive Chef) and a AAC (American Academy of Chefs).

A native of White Plains and fourth member of Meme’s is Peter Herrero, winner of the 2002 Restauranteur of the Year for Sam’s of Gedney Way.
