Brittany B. Brandwein

Brittany B. Brandwein began her professional career on stage as a dancer performing with American Ballet Theatre. After two career-ending knee surgeries, Brittany entered the not-for-profit world, working in the performing arts office of Hunter College and more recently at the Metropolitan Opera. Brittany spent more than five years at the Met in Development Services, beginning as a researcher and subsequently joining the special events team. As the Special Events Promotions Manager, Brittany oversaw the production of all special events collateral and management of the department budgets.

 

Brittany joined the White Plains BID in 2013 as the Director of Events and Business Promotions where she is directly responsible for improving upon existing events and promotions, as well as establishing new ones to keep residents, employees and visitors excited to be in downtown White Plains. Brittany graduated summa cum laude from the CUNY Baccalaureate for Interdisciplinary Studies and Macaulay Honors College at CUNY with a double major in Performing Arts Administration and Economics. In her spare time, Brittany teaches ballet, and inspired by the birth of her first child, recently developed a class for post-partum, menopausal, and other women enduring changes and challenges in their body.
